Summer is BBQ season, but why bother with sweating over the coals yourself when the experts will cook up a storm for you? Smoke and Fire Festival is taking over Ascot Racecourse this August for a weekend of spectacular and tasty grilling, with chef demos, cocktails, artisan foods and live music.
Considered the largest BBQ festival experience in the UK, Smoke and Fire boasts an impressive line-up, with over 50 brands set to be in attendance for you to discover. There’s a speculation that this festival will be a very meaty affair, and whilst there will be plenty of meat on the menu there will be a range of plant-based and halal options so everyone can enjoy the unique taste of cooking with smoke and fire.
Filled to the brim with smoky smells and crackling fire pits and BBQ’s this festival is a positive assault of your senses. Boasting worldwide BBQ styles including the extremely popular Korean BBQ as well as Japanese yakitori, Brazilian Churrasco and South African braai that will be available for you to taste and to learn more about each style. This celebration of the BBQ will be filled with tasters of all kinds, from sauces, to meats, vegetables and more, there will be plenty of opportunity to buy your favourites on the day, as well as information on how to find your favourites after the event.
It’s not a summer BBQ without music, and there will be no shortage of that at Smoke and Fire Festival. Live acts performing throughout the weekend, will provide ample entertainment or accompaniment to you taking a break meandering through the stalls. You can experience a range of genres from ska and reggae to blues and soul, perfect to sit and enjoy your latest taster.
Tickets are available for dogs too, so bring along your furry friends, but make sure to keep them on a lead. These tickets are limited, so if you plan to bring your pet make sure to book soon!

Ascot train station is a 10 minute walk from Ascot Racecourse and has great links into Reading and central London.
There will be plenty of food and drink available on site for all requirements. You will not be allowed to bring outside food and drink into the event.
This event is fully accessible from step free access and disabled bathrooms available. Assistance dogs welcome.
