With the ever-increasing amount of Viking inspired TV shows and films gracing our streaming platforms, it’s no surprise we’re all invested in such a momentous part of our history. So, have you ever wanted to experience the life of the Viking?
Jorvik Viking Festival is a nine-day long festival with several different events and activities. Attend just one or a number of days whilst also exploring the historical city of York, which was itself a Viking stronghold for many years.
This festival celebrates all things Viking, including the sights, sounds and even smells of the era, with opportunities to get fully immersed into the lifestyle of the Viking. Suitable for all ages, larger groups, and pairs, why not book your tickets and prepare to be transported back over 1,000 years! See below for all the info and I hope you have a fun time.
Can’t make this event? The Jorvik Viking Centre is open all year round for you to learn more about our Viking history. Why not visit the beautiful city of York in your own time and get involved in some activities at the Centre?
