There’s nothing like curling up in the Scottish Highlands with a good book, so we think you’d get the most out of a trip to Ullapool Book Festival, the last one. The current committee wish to see out their festival before their retirement with an amazing line up of authors, journalists, poets, and musicians. Most of these have some connection to the area, whether they are from Scotland or have written about Scotland, each one has created something worth celebrating.
Ullapool is a small village in the Scottish Highlands so why not build a trip around this event and visit some other villages along the coast of Scotland. With picturesque views and a rich culture, what’s not to love?
This festival is a great day out during a holiday in Scotland. Why not add this into your plans as you visit the Scottish Highlands?
