Octopus on sticks– yum!
Summer is the time for food festivals, and seafood festivals are no different, with so many happening in coastal towns up and down the UK this summer. Here are a few we think you’d really love!
Dorset Seafood Festival will be held in Weymouth this September, with many local fishmongers and other local produce set out on the harbour for people to enjoy.
If you’re looking for something a little posher, then try the Rock Oyster Festival in Cornwall. With musical entertainment and some of the best artisan seafood dishes available this one is set to be a great experience.
With all these seafood festivals suitable for couples and groups, why not try one out and see if you discover something delicious!
The food stalls can often be busy at lunchtimes, we recommend you eat earlier in the day and then later in the afternoon to avoid spending along time in a queue. If you find a seat with a great view, grab it while you can! Seating can be limited at these festivals.
