We’ve all seen the viral videos from previous years, but why not experience it for yourself…
A string of competitors will be racing down the infamous Cooper’s Hill in Gloucestershire this May for a day of cheese rolling events. This event, whilst unique and objectively amusing, has its roots dating back to the 1800s and traditionally always falls on the May bank holiday.
The event is watched by many every year and often goes viral on many social media sites each year. It’s an authentically British event, perfect for couples, friends, and groups, to watch the wacky races from either the top or bottom of the hill, and watching the winner raise the prize, the nine-pound Double Gloucester, that was being chased down the steep incline. It’s a truly unique experience.
