How to get there
Train: The nearest train station is the main Oxford Station. The venue is a 10-minute walk from the station.
Bus: The Gloucester Green Bus Stop is the nearest one to the Oxford Union. It is a three-four-minute walk from the bus stop to the venue.
Car: There is no car parking at the venue. Those travelling by car would have to park in public car parks, information for which can be found here.

Oxford Wine Festival is set to be the grape-est wine carnival of the year with over 40 merchants and vineyards offering their collections all under one roof. Take a breather from your usual supermarket tipple and indulge in some delicate tastes because wine-not?
Sip, Swirl, and Sparkle
Make this (late) summer one to remember by sampling fabulous varieties of wine to your heart’s content in a fun, relaxed, and charming surrounding. Headlined by Prosecco Doc UK, the festival has already created a buzz with its merchant line-up bringing you wines from different nooks of the world. This includes the American Ally Wines offering innovative selections from California, Oregon, Washington and New York, and Southern Wine Roads, known for promoting traditional wines made in the Greek islands. You’ll also find some unusual bold tastes and blushing beauties from Italy, France, Spain, Brazil and Hungary, along with local British heroes such as Saddle Goose and Wickham. Look out for wines from Babylonstoren for earthy South African tastings. Excited? That’s just a trailer. You’re in to find some award-winning rare wines from over 25 countries.
Wine-ding roads give me more
Even though slurping, er, sampling all the various wines is reason to go enough, there’s a lot more to this festival. Here, you can chat with the winemakers and merchants who’ll share some cool insights into the world of wine-making, and you’ll know the story behind each sip of wine that you try. Found something that hits the spot? You can purchase it by a glass, or buy a bottle. All this accompanied by awesome live music and food.

Attending a wine fest is the best way to discover wines, and you don’t need any knowledge to enjoy it here, just a desire to try some nice wines. The festival is making sure there’s no wine snobbery, which makes it a perfect experience for first-timers. Your ticket includes your first 11 wine samples and you can further purchase more vouchers on the spot.
The Pour-fect Pour
You can also get tickets for a tutored tasting masterclass, hosted by wine connoisseurs at the venue. They’re available on both the days of the festival, and must be booked in advance.
