Calling all cat lovers to London's Olympia this February for the two-day Cat Extravaganza and Rescue Awareness event from Loving All Cats Worldwide, founded by International Cat show Judge and self-proclaimed TikTok ‘Cat Dad’, Steven Meserve. Their mission is to spread the love of owning a cat and reduce the number of strays and mistreated cats around the world.
This is a cat lovers paradise, whether you have your own moggy, are looking to adopt, or simply just love cats! Grab some adorable feline merch ranging from artwork, to clothing, and plenty of kitty accessories such as collars, food bowls, and toys.
Take a chance to learn more about your fur baby at one of the educational expert talks at Kitty Corner and get involved with rescues and charities to show your love for your feline friends that need a helping hand.
If you can’t make the December event, take a trip to a local cat café to enjoy a drink or snack whilst getting your cat cuddle fix. Here are a few we think are great:
Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium, East London
London’s first cat café with two distinct themes, head down to the Basement Forest or enjoy the crazy Mad Catter’s Tearoom. Get to know the current group of cats and hear the adoption stories of over 60 cats that Lady Dinah’s has helped rehome. This café must have a booking and is often booked up in advance so secure your slot in advance.
Maison de Moggy, Edinburgh
Visit this family of cats who permanently live in the Maison with plenty of space for them to climb, settle down for a nap, and plenty of treats to give them. You’ll be free to roam the café to play and interact with the cats, and there is plenty of seating for you to enjoy the range of teas, coffees, and cakes available with vegan and gluten-free options too.
Pause Cat Café, Bournemouth
This cat café is a haven for cats and humans alike, with friendly feline faces ready to greet you. Relax in the warm and welcoming café and enjoy cuddles and playtime with some furry friends over tea and a full lunch menu. All the cats at Pause are rescues and love cuddling up on laps for a cat nap.
Cat Café, Liverpool
This adorable and plush café hosts book clubs and seasonal events throughout the year and need to be booked in advance. The stunning fluffy kitties are here to help you relax through animal assisted therapy, here you pay for a time slot and enjoy free unlimited drinks and unlimited cuddles.
