TASTER Foraging Workshop near Chichester – 1st November 2025

This 'Taster' event is a shorter workshop, open to anyone looking for a brief but informative introduction to the wonderful world of foraging. No formal food is provided, but there will still be plenty of tasting along the way. This course is designed to get you as involved as possible - this includes identifying, picking and tasting a range of wild species that will be found on the day. There will also be samples of wild food for everyone to get stuck into!

FORAGE & NIBBLE in The Malvern Hills - 2nd November 2025

A foraging walk followed by a sit down towards the end of the event where you will be served either a pre-made snack or have some ingredients cooked up in front of you by your guide. Your guide will run their sessions in their own style, so this could be anything from baked goods to preserves to stir fries and beyond. Small tasters of preserves may also be handed out along the way, but most species on these sessions can be tasted directly from the hedgerow.

Led by Dr James Wilkinson, a qualified Mountain Leader with over 15 years’ experience, this supportive small group walk (max 15 people) is ideal for families, new hikers, and anyone seeking a social day outdoors. Expect vibrant autumn colours, wide-open skies, and that wonderful sense of calm you only find on the hills.
