More information
Lift Festival of performing arts is dead set on a London take over this summer from the city centre to the wider suburbs. Enjoy a line-up of contrasting and relevant themes, and thought-provoking performances of theatre, dance, and art heading to iconic landmarks for open air shows, famous theatres and venues and even unsuspecting corners of the city you might have never heard of including the Southbank Centre and The Dutch Church.
Lift is a progressive, forward-thinking, and inclusive project aimed at challenging the ‘normal’. Explore political and social norms through expressionist theatre from some of the most creative minds of a new generation. Lift aims to bring international artists to London for this two-month celebration of artistic freedom, with Lara Duarte, Lola Shoneyin, and Nassim Soleimanpour showcasing their talents.
