With the Olympics kicking off in Paris this July, why not try your hand at something new with a beginner friendly activity inspired by an Olympic sport. Let the games inspire you to take on a challenge and get involved in a new sport!

Surfing, Cornwall

Cornwall is one of the UK’s top spots for surfing, so where better to dip your toe in and learn how to surf? The adventure team in Newquay are on hand to teach you the basics and get you in the water riding your first wave on the day. A perfect summer activity for a weekend at the Cornish coast.

Horse Riding, Derbyshire

It’s not quite dressage but this awesome pony trekking adventure through the Creswell Crags is the perfect way to start. Great for beginners or those with some experience and a fab way to get to know horses on this 45-minute trek through green fields and woodland.
